What is Reiki? 

A healing technique based on the principle that the practitioner can channel energy into the client by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the client’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being.


About our Practitioner Debbie Gordon:

I am a Holy Fire Reiki Master Practitioner and I practice Reiki.

Reiki is a Japanese relaxation healing energy art that was introduced in the US in the 1920’s.

It’s main purpose is to restore health and promote relaxation and rejuvenation.

There are two ways that Reiki can be performed in person or distantly.

Either style that is performed a client should not be driving or operating any type of equipment.

When the client is open to have a session the practitioner channels the life force energy that is all around us.

The practitioner is the conduit to get your subtle energies flowing within your body so you can promote your innate ability to self heal.

When a session is being performed in person the client is either lying down on a massage table or sitting down.

When the session is completed distantly it is recommended that the client lays down or sits down.

It is best if they settle into a place of peace and comfort with no distractions and relax with her eyes closed during a session the client is fully clothed and Reiki is transmitted with a light hands-on touch or the beaming method.

It is non-invasive.

If the client would like to set an intention for their session they are free to do so.

Here are some of the results you may experience.

Sleeping better, when you sleep better you usually feel better, and when you feel better you usually make better choices, and when you make better choices your life possibly becomes better.

It may help your heart open to more love, compassion, and forgiveness. It very possibly will help alleviate aches and pains.

It is one of those beautiful arts that may help you start cultivating a more positive relationship with yourself and others.

It may awaken a sense of peace and contentment that helps you through your days with more ease and grace.

Benefits are beyond the short list I provided it is much more expensive.

Everybody has their own unique experience.

Before the session starts and if you feel inspired and really want to set the tone for your hour of self love.

You may want to perform some practices that tell yourself I LOVE YOU.

Here are some suggestions……  

Take a bath and ad to the water what you most enjoy.

Light candles

Smudge your space with whatever you enjoy burning

Caress your whole body with something you enjoy to soften your skin

Massage your feet

Maybe even turn on vibrational music

You may want to dance a little to get your energy moving

Or whatever else you enjoy and want to express self love to yourself!
